The Fresh Ideas Stage is the meeting point for new ideas and innovative business models in the pet industry. Start-ups and young companies present their concepts right at the heart of the trade fair.
Following a successful debut in 2022 and further development in 2024, the stage will return in 2026 — located in Hall 3, positioned between the Interzoo start-up pavilions. Visitors can look forward to exciting pitches, short presentations, and fresh approaches that bring new energy to the industry.

On Friday, 15th May 2026, the Interzoo Fresh Ideas Contest will once again bring forward-thinking ideas to an international trade audience. Start-ups from the pet industry will present their innovative concepts in short, concise pitches—live in front of a jury and industry decision-makers.
The focus is on fresh solutions and business models in the areas of sustainability, technology, pet food & ingredients, health and packaging. After the pitches, the jury will award the title „Winner Interzoo Fresh Ideas Contest 2026“ to the most convincing start-up, along with attractive prizes and valuable visibility within the industry.
2024’s winners are proof that great ideas get noticed:
1st Place: Petnow (South Korea)
Petnow impressed the jury with an innovative app for the biometric identification of dogs, securing first place.
2nd Place: Pawr (Netherlands)
This start-up captured attention with its concept for vegetarian dog food, earning a well-deserved second place.
3rd Place: Allkokos (Germany)
Allkokos took third place with its sustainable small animal bedding made from coconut fibres. .

Bookings can be made directly via the Interzoo exhibitor portal. As soon as you have booked a presentation, we will contact you to discuss the next steps (desired presentation time, presentation documents, deadlines, technical set-up, etc.).
